MS raises funds
The MS Society raised more than $141,000 with the annual Scotiabank MS Walk. The event took place on April 13 in Vancouver, and more than 400 people participated by collecting pledges for the walk. Money raised goes towards research and support programs for people with multiple sclerosis, an incurable disease with no known cause or cure.
The MS Society of Canada, B.C. and Yukon Division, is based in Burnaby but helps people throughout the province and in the Yukon.
