Here’s another local event that will benefit the Burnaby Christmas Bureau.

Burnaby North Secondary school club, Christmas Cheer, will be hosting a Christmas carnival for children in kindergarten to Grade 3. All donations go directly towards the bureau, which helps low-income families, seniors and people who are at risk of homelessness by giving them food, clothing and toys at Christmastime. Each year, the club strives to raise $10,000.

The carnival is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. The school is 751 Hammarskjold Dr. Everyone is welcome.
