Burnaby's Nikkei Centre hosted Japan Kids Festival on Saturday, a fundraiser for earthquake victims in Japan.
An estimated 1,000 people turned out for Japanese-themed kids' activities and entertainment. The event raised $5,065 for two organizations that support people and homeless pets after the Fukushima earthquake.
