Learn to reduce robberies at upcoming workshop

The Burnaby RCMP’s safe community series continues next week with a seminar on reducing robberies.

The two-hour event will be led by members of the RCMP’s crime prevention unit. It will cover current and regional crime topics and provide advice on personal and business safety. The workshop will also touch on a “broad-spectrum of robbery-related information,” according to a notice on the RCMP’s website.

The Nov. 26 workshop runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in council chambers at Burnaby city hall, 4949 Canada Way. Anyone interested in attending is asked to RSVP with the crime prevention unit at 604-294-7859 or email [email protected].
