It was a celebration of science and all things celestial at Simon Fraser University on Saturday.
The university held its Science Rendezvous and International Astronomy Day celebrations on Saturday, May 10.
Science Rendezous is billed as the "largest science festival in Canada," and it works to engage the public - especially kids - through interactive science activities, demonstrations and lab experiences.
SFU was one of many locations across Canada taking part in the event, with a day full of interactive activities, science shows and demonstrations.
At the same time, families had a chance to celebrate International Astronomy Day with SFU and the Vancouver Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Included in the day were crafts, astronomy bingo, telescope displays and free lectures.
NOW photographer Jason Lang stopped by to check out the action.
