Bike to work week is fast approaching, and you can prepare by taking a spin with HUB, the group that organizes free cycling trips in Burnaby. This Sunday, May 17, the ride will be along the Central Valley Greenway. To join, meet at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, in the east parking lot on Sperling Avenue, at 11 a.m. All riders must come with a bike helmet and bell on their bikes. There will also be information on privacy and protecting your personal information. The market is in the city hall parking lot, at 4949 Canada Way. While you’re there, don’t forget to pick up some of the fresh, organic produce. The market runs every Saturday until Oct. 24.
