Toy Grand Prix racer available for collectors

If you're of a certain age, you'll remember playing toys that were commonly made of tin.

If you're of a certain age, you'll remember playing toys that were commonly made of tin. Well, Schylling Associates of Rowley, Massachusetts, a company founded in 1975, produces a variety of retro-style toys, including a limited collector's edition Grand Prix Racer.

It features the same type of friction motor that used to power similar toy cars back in the 1940s and '50s. Best of all, the Grand Prix Racer costs just US $20. To order yours, go to www.schylling.com/p/ gran-prix-race-car.

A "cooler" table

Of the many different portable coolers on the market, this has to be one of only a few that converts into a picnic table. Once you've wheeled The Picnic Table Cooler Combo to your preferred spot, the sides of the cooler are unfolded and propped open using the attached metal legs.

Similarly, the two folding child-sized stools that are stored underneath each side of the table are removed and set in place. The top of the cooler that forms the mid-section of the table is removable for access to your food and/or beverages, while the extra-long pull handle folds out of the way. The retail price is US $70, plus shipping, from www.topoftheline-travel. com/rolling-cooler-picnic-table.html.
