The volunteers would help job seekers practise their interview skills.

An orientation and training session is provided to those volunteers selected for the program.

Volunteers would help immigrant jobseekers gain interview experience while obtaining first-hand interview experience themselves.

The interviews are 20 minutes each, and volunteers are given the job seekers' resumés, as well as the job postings.

Volunteers must be fluent in spoken English and have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work with multicultural clientele.

Shifts are 3.5 hours on weekdays, once or twice a month, usually on Thursdays between 9: 30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

To apply, send an email resume to Shawn Yu at [email protected] or call 604-438-2100 ext. 106 for more information. More details are available at www. success.bc.ca.
