1 Get captivated on Friday, March 9 with a recital by soprano Stephanie Nakagawa and pianist Joni Chan at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre at 6688 Southoaks Cres. The event starts at 8 p.m. and admission is by donation. For more information, call 604-777-7000.

2 Get watching How to Disappear Completely, a one-man show presented by the Chop Theatre that follows the story of a mother's life and the unique circumstances surrounding her death. The show is on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 at 8 p.m. at the James Cowan Theatre in the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts at 6450 Deer Lake Ave. To order tickets or get more info, call 604-205-3000.

3 Get musical on Sunday, March 11 for the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, featuring 18-year-old pianist Hannah Han performing Schumann's piano concerto and founder Ken Hsieh conducting the orchestra. The concert is at 2 p.m. at the Michael J.
