Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. The show will go on rain or shine. Buy general admission tickets for $49.50 at tickemaster.ca.

Help tidy up the Royal Oak neighbourhood on Saturday at Burnaby Neighbourhood House’s spring cleanup. Bring your friends and family to 5024 Rumble St., at 9:30 a.m. to register, and the cleanup runs from 10 a.m. to noon. There’s a barbecue to follow. Dress for the weather. Info: 604-431-0400.

Rock and roll-back to the ’50s at a fundraiser for the Jubilee United Church, 7551 Gray Ave. Saturday night (May 26). There will be an Elvis impersonator, a three-course dinner, and a chance to get up and jive. Bring your arty kids to the Cameron library branch, at 9523 Cameron St., Sunday afternoon (May 27) for crafts and activities with the Makerspace program, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Kids ages four and up are welcome, and supplies are provided. Kids under 10 need a guardian to participate. Free.

Get locally grown fresh and organic veggies, prepared foods and crafts at the Burnaby Farmers Market in the city hall parking lot (4949 Canada Way) on Saturday morning, May 26. There’s live music, a book exchange, a children’s play tent, games table, sitting area with newspapers, and food trucks with some tasty eats. Bring your own shopping bag. The market runs weekly until Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
