1 Get buying for a good cause on Saturday, March 24 with the Citizens' Pet Population Control garage sale, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the All Saints Anglican Church, 7405 Royal Oak Ave. All proceeds will go to help animals.
2 Get watching on Friday, March 23 for the last day of spring break movies at the Tommy Douglas library at 7311 Kingsway. The kids film at 1 p.m. is Hop while the teen film at 3 p.m. is Freaky Friday. No registration required, just drop in.
3 Get cultural for the last weekend of FRESCO at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, 6450 Deer Lake Ave. BellaLuna Productions breathes life into a little known global event that shaped the Italian-Canadian landscape in Western Canada. 4 Get captivated by The Magic of Viola, Saturday, March 24 at 7: 30 p.m. at Cliff Avenue United Church, 1600 Cliff Ave. Five violinists will perform a variety of music from classical to contemporary. Tickets are $20 adults/seniors and $15 for students. Info: www.jinheeparkpro.com.
5 Get active with the last days of spring break at the Burnaby Village Museum. Running until March 25, this year's Puppets and Pageantry theme allows participants to explore this unique form of theatre art.
