Artisans, take note: The Burnaby Arts Council has an open call for artisans for its Deer Lake Summer Arts Festival.
The call is open until June 15, but the arts council’s website notes that the festival usually sells out by June 1, with a wait list for jewelry and soap artisans – so if you’re interested, book now. Applications are considered by the jury as they come in, so the sooner you apply, the better.
This year’s festival will be held Saturday, July 7 outdoors at Deer Lake Gallery, 6584 Deer Lake Ave.
