Seasoned Fibres art show, by Burnaby artist Donna Polos, an exhibition of watercolour painted paper, cotton and canvas, at the Arts Council of New West gallery in Queen's Park. Gallery open Tuesday to Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.

Ceramic sensibilities: one to many, an exhibition featuring three prominent ceramic artists; Darcy Greiner, Debra Sloan and Jinny Whitehead in an exploration of how a single theme, form or method (one) relates to art production (many). Show runs until March 30 at the Deer Lake Gallery, 6584 Deer Lake Ave. Hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m.

Jazz for a Knight, presented by St. Thomas More Collegiate high school - a jazz benefit concert in honour of STM student Josemaria Palma Manrique at 7: 30 p.m. at Michael J. Fox Theatre, 7373 Macpherson Ave. Proceeds go to the Josemaria Palma Manrique Memorial Scholarship fund to support Grade 12 students going into post-secondary studies in music, technology or engineering. Yarema is a an award-winning singer, pianist and composer who has performed on more than 50 albums ranging from blues and jazz to reggae and pop.
