Is there a budding artist in your home?

Don’t forget about the Burnaby Art Gallery’s upcoming Super Cities program, which gives young creative designers a chance to explore ideas about what makes a city – all while creating their very own city of the future.

It runs for four Saturdays starting Jan. 27, with sessions for four- to six-year-olds from 10 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 to 12:30 p.m., and a session for six- to nine-year-olds from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

In February, the gallery is offering Adventure Passports, another four-Saturday program that gives kids a chance to create their own adventure passport using photographs, print making and stories. There are sessions for kids aged four to six (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.) and six to nine (1 to 2:30 p.m.).

February will also see a return of Artful Duo: Parent and Me Studio Time, giving parents and their two- to five-year-olds a chance to explore all manner of artistic fun together. It’s on Fridays, with one-hour sessions starting at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
