If it’s far too early for you to start thinking about Christmas, avert your eyes now.
Burnaby artisans are among those taking part in the 45th annual Circle Craft Christmas Market.
The market runs Nov. 8 to 12 at Vancouver Convention Centre West and features more than 300 exhibitors that run the gamut of offerings: clothing designers, potters, wood and metal workers, glass blowers, jewellers, toy makers, candle and soap makers and more.
Among those exhibiting their clothing designs are two new participants from Burnaby: Erdaine Knitwear and Yifat Jovani, a fashion designer from North Burnaby.
Also part of the show is Burnaby-based BO by Mansouri, with their handcrafted wooden and concrete bow ties.
North Arm Knives, another local business, is bringing their chef’s knives and outdoor knives to the show.
The market will be open Nov. 8 to 12, Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $15 regular, $12 for students and seniors, and free for children under 12. You can save $2 when you buy in advance at www.circlecraft.net or at the Circle Craft Shop and Gallery at 1666 Johnston St., in the Net Loft on Granville Island.
