Burnaby's Cineplex theatre unveils new 'flashback' film series

Burnaby movie-goers will be cozying up in the Metropolis Cineplex theatre this winter with a new line-up of beloved classics and retro throwbacks.

Following the decade-long success of its Classic Film Series, Cineplex Events has added a year-round Flashback Film Series into its rotation, which will offer two fan favourite flicks each and every month.

This winter, movie-lovers will have a chance to rediscover an 80-year-old romance in Gone with the Wind; flashback to the ‘70s with Richard Donner’s Superman; set sail with Hollywood icons Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn in The African Queen; take a trip down the rabbit hole in celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Matrix; and more.
