Got art to share?
Calling all artists.
The Burnaby Arts Council is calling for proposals for exhibitions at its Deer Lake Gallery in 2016.
Proposals for solo, group and themed exhibitions are welcome, as well as proposals for two designated theme shows: Reborn (works exploring upcycling and recycling) and Luminescence (works exploring light).
Submission deadline is Nov. 6.
And while we’re on the subject, the arts council is also calling for artisans to take part in its 44th annual Deer Lake Festival of Arts, running Nov. 20, 21 and 22 at Shadbolt Centre. The juried festival is looking for folks who handcraft unique and original art.
You can find out more about both calls at www.burnabyartscouncil.org or email info@burnaby
