Three Burnaby artists are among those with work in a new exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Circle Craft Cooperative.

The cooperative is holding its Circle Craft 40 Years and Beyond show at Vancouver's Pendulum Gallery until Aug. 23.

Among the exhibitors are Burnaby's Neno Catania, a woodworker; Braden Hammon, a glass artist; and Yvonne Wakabayashi, a fibre artist.

They're part of a 45-member show that includes both longtime and new members of the cooperative, which was first formed in Victoria in 1972 to support the viability and growth of craft in B.C. "A measure of its success can be seen in the works created by today's members, works that push the boundaries of the 'applied arts,'" a press release notes. "In our 40th anniversary celebrations, our goal is to showcase to the world the excellence of our members, both in their technical skills and in their personal visions for the future of craft."

The Pendulum Gallery is in the HSBC Building at 885 West Georgia St. in Vancouver.

It's open Monday to Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Sundays. Admission is free.
