1 Get thinking about Christmas in July at a garage and thrift sale at St. Stephen's Church at 9887 Cameron St. Lots of big and small Christmas items will be featured. The event is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

2 Get motoring at the Edmonds City Fair and Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, Sunday, July 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Edmonds between Kingsway and Canada Way.

3 Get discovering at the Burnaby Equestrian Centre open house, Sunday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 9080 Avalon Ave. See www.burnabyhorsemensassociation.com.

4 Get entertained by the Burnaby Summer Theatre's children's play on Friday, July 19 at the Burnaby Village Museum. On the Elworth Lawn, follow the journey of a young boy to many peculiar planets. The play starts at noon.
