Five Burnaby companies in the running for awards
Congratulations are in order for five Burnaby building companies.
The companies, which include developers and contractors, are among a lengthy list of finalists at the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association 2018 Ovation Awards taking place later this month.
Local finalists include: Sasen Renovations (best renovated room); PD Moore Homes Inc. and My Lane Home Inc. (best small-scale home under 1,000 square feet); Boffo and Chris Dikeakos Architects (best multi-family highrise development); NWI Contracting Ltd. (best outdoor living space: custom or renovated); and Thind Properties Ltd. (best marketing campaign and best interior design display suite: multi-family home).
“The Ovation Awards recognize industry leaders who are changing the way we think about housing. We are proud of our world-class builders, renovators and designers who are working to deliver a complete mix of housing choices to meet the demand of a broad variety of homeowners, which is essential to supporting our thriving communities,” said Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association CEO Bob de Wit in a press release. “Our members are helping to shape neighbourhoods; initiating construction strategies to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact and designing innovative building solutions to address homeowners’ demands for comfort, convenience and connection.”
