Vancouver's Lee's Donuts is part of a new campaign through Fantuan

Burnaby’s Fantuan Delivery – a food delivery app that specializes in Asian restaurants – is expanding its reach with a new campaign to promote “iconic” restaurants through deep discounts.

From now to May 15, people can order from a list of the most iconic restaurants and their signature dish combos – yet do so from the Fantuan Delivery app, at discounted prices.

This range of signature dishes is exclusively available on Fantuan, and most of the combos are within $25.

“At little expense, users can enjoy various types of culinary delights delivered directly to their door,” said a news release. “For this campaign, Fantuan chose some of the city’s most representative restaurants, as an important reminder to the public that these local gems continue to thrive, despite the pandemic’s impact. With the lack of tourists this year, Vancouverites can show their support for local business, whether it’s dine-in, takeout or delivery. These restaurants stand the test of time – and spawn fond memories for many of us.”

Some of the participating restaurants have more than 20 years of history in Vancouver, such as Sala Thai, an authentic Thai restaurant that opened in 1986. Others are labelled as “must try” for both locals and tourists.

Here’s a full list of what Iconic Vancouver offers you:
