Burnaby pub gives boost to SPCA

Wings restaurant in Burnaby is promoting animal awareness with its Pints for Paws fundraiser. During the month of June, Wings will spread its wings to protect animals. For every pint of Fiji Blond, the house brew, sold, it will donate $1 to the B.C.

Wings restaurant in Burnaby is promoting animal awareness with its Pints for Paws fundraiser.

During the month of June, Wings will spread its wings to protect animals. For every pint of Fiji Blond, the house brew, sold, it will donate $1 to the B.C. SPCA in Burnaby.

The goal is to raise $4,000 from all of the Wings locations in B.C.

“June is the official start of summer, so why not help prevent animal cruelty by simply having a cold beer,” said Jeff Perham, brand and marketing manager for parent company GoldWings, in a new release.
