Burnaby company Peregrine Supply Co. and the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF), a national non-profit, are collaborating to bring a new shopping experience and men’s health exhibit to Burnaby this December.

The pop-up and exhibit will be located at The Amazing Brentwood shopping mall until Dec. 31. Visitors will be able to buy Peregrine Supply Co. men’s grooming products and walk through an exhibition on the second floor that features men’s health statistics and important stories of Canadian men overcoming health challenges. The Exhibit is currently open on weekends during store hours.

Peregrine Supply Co. was founded in 2015 by Katrina Moscato-Hill and Tyler Hill. They create modern, functional grooming products for men and aim to promote a healthy, well-rounded culture that doesn’t rely on traditional or hyper-masculine stereotypes.

In June 2021, Katrina’s father passed away after a sudden heart attack. This motivated her and Tyler to partner with the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation to raise awareness about men’s health and highlight the Foundation’s ‘Don’t Change Much’ program. “Our business has always been about promoting men’s health, and this cause is now more personal to me than ever before,” said Moscato-Hill. “My dad grew up in North Burnaby, so being able to host an event like this, in the place where he grew up, feels really meaningful.”

CMHF is a national, registered charity providing information, tools, and motivation for men and their families to live healthier. They intervene early by offering e-health resources that improve men’s quality of life today and reduce men’s risk for chronic diseases. CMHF’s initiatives include a ‘Men’s Health Check’, a confidential online assessment tool, and their ‘Don’t Change Much’ program, which provides men across the country with easy health tips.

“CMHF is pleased to be partnering with Peregrine Supply Co. as these collaborations build awareness around the poor men’s health statistics in Canada,” said TC Carling, CMHF President & CEO. “We are looking forward to giving men in the lower mainland an interactive experience that inspires them to live healthier.”

Peregrine Supply Co. will be donating $1 of every sale to the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation and hosting a digital version of the exhibition on their website for those who cannot experience it in person.
