The centre is presenting its fourth annual BLOOM: Asian Canadian Artist Showcase from April 10 to 28.

The exhibition includes both emerging and established artists, with an extensive list that includes Judy Nakagawa, Tak Tanabe, Barb Yamazaki, Lotus Miyashita, Michiko Suzuki, Linda Ohama, Kathy Shimizu and many more.

The showcase includes an online preview and an exhibition from April 10 to 28, with a gala showcase on Saturday, April 28 from 7 to 9: 30 p.m.

The showcase will include a silent and live auction, as well as desserts, a cash bar, entertainment and activities.

It's designed to help raise money for and awareness about the Nikkei National Museum and to promote Asian Canadian artists.

The museum's mandate is to preserve and promote Japanese Canadian history, arts and culture, and this art showcase is its main fundraiser.
