The Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) wants the views of its membership on road pricing.
With TransLink’s Mobility Pricing Commission heading into its final consultation stages before issuing its report, the BBOT is looking for its members to be involved and have a say on ensuring the interests of business are heard, said a board news release.
The commission has narrowed its options to charging vehicles based on distance, direction, location and time of day, and charging at transportation choke points such as bridges.
The BBOT is seeking some members to be part of its Road Pricing Task Force to determine the organization’s position while others can contribute thoughts and opinions by emailing the BBOT ([email protected]). They can also fill out the TransLink survey on the subject that will run Feb. 26 to March 14.
