This Pie Hole is 4,000 square feet.
A successful Vancouver bakery has opened a second location near the Burnaby/New Westminster boarder. The Pie Hole’s original shop opened on Fraser Street in 2011. The new outlet is at 7832 Sixth Street, which formerly housed the Pastry Box Bakery.
The renovated space has “a huge kitchen, which will primarily serve as a central bakery to help meet the growing demand for its product,” said a press release.
The spot will have a takeout retail shop of fresh and frozen pie products and will also sell pies by the slice, coffee, tea and other beverages.
“Burnaby and New West residents have been great supporters of The Pie Hole,” said owner Jenell Parsons. “The added bakery space provides me with much more capacity to meet the demands of our customers, especially during hectic holiday seasons … In the past, we have always had to turn people away due to limited supply capacity.”
