Burnaby RCMP’s traffic enforcement unit nailed a dangerous driver who shouldn’t have even been driving.

One Burnaby police officer caught a vehicle driving 101 km/h in a 40-km/h construction zone.

When the officer questioned the driver, it turned out the person didn’t have a valid driver’s licence.

The result of this behaviour resulted in $644 worth of tickets and the vehicle being impounded for seven days.

“At what point does this translate into jail time? This person obviously doesn't care, and will do it again,” tweeted @philridinbikes to the Burnaby RCMP.
