Another Burnaby family has become $1 million richer.
Teresa Arciaga won the $1 million prize in the Lotto 6/49 draw on Aug. 31, a win she shares with her two sons, Aizel and Adonie Villar.
“It feels great, like a breath of fresh air,” she said in a press release. “We can take some time off work now and take a vacation.”
Arciaga added the money will allow them to visit relatives back home “in style.”
The ticket was purchased at the Shell Select on Knight Street and 41st Avenue in Vancouver.
On Aug. 12, Linda Spruston of Burnaby was the lucky ticket holder of a $1 million Maxmillions prize in the Lotto Max draw. That ticket was bought at Lougheed Town Centre.
