The Burnaby Artisan Farmers’ Market aren’t just back in business – they’ve expanded.

The market was shut down in March due to concerns over the COVID0-19 pandemic. But that market is up and running again at Burnaby City Hall.

Now, a new market is located in the Brentwood area of Burnaby, at the corner of Alpha Avenue and Dawson Street, one block east of Willingdon Avenue and one block south of Brentwood shopping centre and the SkyTrain station. Here you'll meet growers, bakers and artisans, Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm, through October.

The market are considered an essential service like grocery stores. The Saturday market is in the parking lot at Burnaby City Hall. According to the market’s Twitter feed, the market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.The market’s tweet said that hygiene rules will be followed, with the wearing of masks and gloves by vendors. Visitors are advised to maintain physical distance and not hang around market. Just shop and then go.

For those who haven’t visited the market before, it’s loaded with organic produce.
