Burnaby has council agreed to work with Fraser Health through further developing its social issues strategy.
After Fraser Health presented to council in June 2011 proposing the development of the Healthier Community Partnership, council decided to explore the Phase 1 implementation and work-plan development process of the Burnaby social sustainability strategy.
Burnaby has received $5,000 from the B.C. Healthy Communities Society to help develop the partnership.
