A Burnaby NOW reader is furious after someone tried to destroy a tree in their neighbourhood.
The reader – who didn’t want their name used – submitted this photo of a tree that has been slashed by someone.
The tree is located in Wesburn Park at Gilpin and Patterson and has large strips torn off of it.
“I am appalled/saddened at the damage done to the tree,” the reader wrote it.
