A Burnaby man is facing a criminal charge in a Surrey sexual interference case that allegedly involved two underage girls.

In August, police began investigating an allegation of two men having sex with two young teenage girls, according to Surrey RCMP. The investigation eventually led to charges being recommended by police and approved by Crown Counsel.

Charged with one count of sexual interference is Shahin Bouziane, 20, from Burnaby and Brodie Clements, 23, from Surrey.  Both men have been released from custody with conditions.

Bouziane’s conditions include no contact with persons under the age of 16 except in the company of the child’s parent or guardian, curfews to remain at home between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. except with permission from a bail supervisor, and no alcohol consumption.

Clements’ release came with a number of conditions related to being around children under 16 including, not attending public parks or pools, not being in a position of trust or authority towards persons under the age of 16, not to communicate with anyone under 16 using a computer system, no contact with anyone under 16 except in the company of the child’s parent or guardian, and curfews to remain at home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. except with permission from a bail supervisor.

Surrey RCMP noted the file is still under investigation and believe there may be more witnesses and victims.

Police released the photo of the two men in order to advance the investigation.
