Raj Chouhan is a bit rattled after the backdoor of his Burnaby-Edmonds MLA office was smashed over the weekend.
Chouhan said someone put a rock through the glass door of his office on Royal Oak, just off Rumble Street. Chouhan said no one came in the office and nothing was stolen.
"It was very disturbing," he said. "My first thought was someone broke in and stole something, but when I saw nothing was taken, I thought: 'What the hell? This is disturbing.'"
Police were notified, but Chouhan hasn't heard anything since. When asked if it could be politically motivated, Chouhan said he didn't know.
"I was shocked and puzzled why someone would do it," he said.
Chouhan fixed the glass door, which costs $500.
The Burnaby RCMP were not available for immediate comment.
