First it was pools and sports fields reopening
Now, as fall has arrived, it’s skating.
The City of Burnaby’s arenas open to the public on Oct. 13. Registration is now open for public and toonie skating times at the Bill Copeland Sports Centre and Kensington Complex.
Adult-only and Parent & Tot skate times are also available at the Kensington Complex.
Enjoy a skating session by making a booking in advance at the facility.
"For everyone’s safety, no drop-ins are allowed," says a city news release.
Burnaby residents can book their sessions up to seven days in advance online or by calling:
- Bill Copeland Sports Centre: 604-297-4521
- Kensington Complex: 604-297-4535
Skating schedules, and safety protocols in effect can be found on each facility’s webpage.
