The Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's help related to a suspicious fire in a business located in the 4200-block of Dawson Street which occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 22.
The fire was contained within the Enhanced Nutrition store and was quickly brought under control by Burnaby firefighters.
Police are asking any persons who may have information regarding this incident or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area during that time, to contact the Burnaby RCMP's economic crime unit at 604-294-7922.
"Investigators describe the fire as suspicious in nature," Cpl. Dave Reid of the Burnaby RCMP told the Burnaby NOW. "However, further evidence will need to be examined to determine the exact cause of the fire."
