Burnaby RCMP investigate Tuesday night Edmonds shooting

The Burnaby RCMP are investigating a Tuesday evening shooting in the Edmonds area that has left a 20-year-old man with gunshot wounds. According to Cpl. Rick Skolrood of the Burnaby RCMP, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.

According to Cpl. Rick Skolrood of the Burnaby RCMP, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of Salisbury Avenue in South Burnaby.

The investigation is in its early stages and while the police do not believe the shooting was random, they also do not believe it is gang-related.

Police are looking for a male suspect in his early 20s, approximately 5-8 tall with an average build and wearing dark clothing.
