Burnaby RCMP look for grocery store robber

The Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help solve a robbery which occurred Oct. 27 at the Choices Market grocery store on 10th Avenue, along the Burnaby-New Westminster border. The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m.

The Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help solve a robbery which occurred Oct. 27 at the Choices Market grocery store on 10th Avenue, along the Burnaby-New Westminster border.

The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m., when a man entered and told a clerk he had a gun. He managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing. Police believe this man is responsible for several other robberies in the area.

The man is described as a 45- to 60-year-old white or aboriginal male, between 5-6 and 5-10 tall and between 200 and 260 pounds, with a stocky to heavy build. He has short greying hair and has light coloured marks around his eyes. He often wears a baseball cap and aviator-style sunglasses.
