Burnaby RCMP looking for car and driver in pedestrian accident

A woman sustained minor injuries after being hit by a car near the intersection of Griffiths Drive and Edmonds Street on Sunday evening. According to Cpl. Rick Skolrood of the Burnaby RCMP, the accident occurred around 6 p.m.

According to Cpl. Rick Skolrood of the Burnaby RCMP, the accident occurred around 6 p.m. and the woman was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police are looking for the driver and the car believed to be involved in the accident.

"We are looking for a dark Honda or Acura with an 'N' sign in the back," said Skolrood. "Anyone who knows about this (incident) is asked to call the Burnaby RCMP's main switchboard (at 604-294-7922). Our traffic section is investigating."
