Hee Eun Kim, 46, of Burnaby, was on the list of survivors released by Oregon State Police on Monday.

The bus, operated by a Vancouver-based company, Mi Joo Tour & Travel, which also has an office on North Road in Coquitlam, slid off an icy road just outside of Pendleton, Oregon.

Passengers ranging in age from seven to 74 were on the bus. Police and firefighters tried to rescue people who had been ejected from the bus as it careened down an icy, 60-metre embankment along a stretch of Interstate 84.

Police said the 47 passengers came from places ranging from Vancouver; Seattle; Portland; Boise; and Milwaukee. Most held Korean passports.

Police said the investigation into the cause of the crash may take four weeks or longer.
