Boston University junior defender Kaleigh Fratkin scored her first goal of the season in a 4-2 loss to New Hampshire in NCAA Division I women's hockey. Fratkin also had a chance to tie the contest late in the game on a breakaway, but her attempt was stopped following a slashing penalty.

Jon Cornish rushed for 109 yards in the Calgary Stampeders 36-30 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL's West Division semifinal on Sunday. Calgary takes on B.C. in the Western Final at B.C. Place on Sunday.
LUCKY 13 KILLS
Megan Ellis led Portland State to a five-set victory over Northern Colorado in NCAA Division I Big Sky conference women's volleyball on Saturday. Ellis registered 13 kills in the 19-25, 25-18, 15-25, 26-24, 15-10 win.
FIRST GOOSE EGG
Matt Hewitt recorded his first shutout of the Western Hockey League season Saturday with the Regina Pats following a 4-0 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Hewitt stopped all 32 shots fired his way to move into ninth spot among major junior goalies with a 0.924 save percentage.
A FOURTH CIS TITLE
Burnaby's Lindsey Pulice and Isabella Di Trocchio shared a Canadian Interuniversity Sports national championship soccer banner with Trinity Western University.
TWU defeated defending two-time CIS champion Queen's University 4-2 in a shootout. The CIS banner was the fourth for the Langley school.
