Time is running out to pre-purchase your subsidized packages to fight the devastating scourge of chafer beetles.
Pre-purchase your subsidized nemotode packages that can kill chafer beetle larvae through the City of Burnaby's 2019 Nemotode Program until Friday, May 31. Subsidized nematode packages are only available through the GardenWorks Lougheed Highway location this year and this program is only open to Burnaby residents.
Nematode Program Information
- Limited packages available, first come, first serve (sorry, no rain checks).
- Limit of two (2) nematode packages per residential property.
- 50% subsidy off the purchase of Nematodes at GardenWorks (Lougheed Hwy) location only.
- Payment required at time of ordering.
- Two (2) pieces of ID for proof of Burnaby residency required. (e.g. driver's licence, tax notice)
- Watering Exemption Permit will be issued at time of nematode package pick up. (permits are non-transferable)
Subsidy Information:
Total cost of each package of Nematodes at GardenWorks is $89.99, plus taxes. City of Burnaby residents receive a 50% subsidy off the product price and pays the remaining cost of the product, plus all taxes.
