Whether pet stores or animal advocates like it or not, the decision over the continued sales of certain pets in Burnaby is happening on Monday.
On Nov. 25, Burnaby council will vote on amendments to its animal control bylaw, which propose to allow the continued sale of puppies, kittens and sterilized rabbits.
Over the last two years, since the issue was first brought up to council, animal advocates and pet store owners have been struggling to ensure council does the right thing – which mean different things to both parties.
