Council approved $924,000 in funds for eight parks, recreation and cultural services projects.
Central Park will receive $250,000 for improvements including upgrading the perimeter trails, surveying for an asphalt trail and widening some corridors. Other projects include improvements to the Bill Copeland Sports Centre and the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
