Connections Coffee House is celebrating its grand opening with $1 drinks (by cash only) and free samples of baked goods from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to the café's website, hours at the café will vary, so organizers suggest checking the site for details.

The café will also host a parent and tot drop-in group on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., starting next week.

The café is at 5063 Anola Dr. and is run by volunteers. Food and drink purchases cover operating expenses and supplies, according to the website.
