The NOW published some incorrect information in a Jan. 2 story on pipeline safety around schools.
Burnaby Residents Opposing Kinder Morgan Expansion wrote a letter to the Education Minister stating that there were evacuations during the 2009 Kinder Morgan tank farm spill. According to the Burnaby Fire Department, there were no evacuations for that spill. The NOW regrets the error.
