Crime-free housing workshop set

The Burnaby RCMP is inviting all rental property owners, property managers and resident managers to attend an eight-hour crime-free multihousing workshop on April 17 to learn about the program, which aims to reduce criminal activity in the apartment

The Burnaby RCMP is inviting all rental property owners, property managers and resident managers to attend an eight-hour crime-free multihousing workshop on April 17 to learn about the program, which aims to reduce criminal activity in the apartment community.

The program has three phases.

Phase 1 is an eight-hour workshop where valuable information is presented to help reduce crime and bring in good tenants.

Phase 2 is the security assessment of the property where recommendations are made to improve its safety.

Phase 3 is the safety social, where residents are presented with important crime prevention information.

Phase 1 is being held at the City of Burnaby council chambers at 4949 Canada Way from 8: 30 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. on April 17.
