Burnaby RCMP are looking for help to identify a man who allegedly threatened an individual involved in an ongoing lawsuit.

The victim, who is involved in the ongoing legal action, and his family have received threatening phone calls and texts since September, which are believed to be related to the lawsuit, according to Burnaby RCMP.

On Oct. 8, a man visited the victim’s home and allegedly made several vague threats, police said.

The man was unknown to the victim and his family, and police are asking the public for help to identify him.

“Given the nature of the threats that have been made, investigators would like to identify and speak with the man in the photo to determine his alleged involvement in this dispute,” Burnaby RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Kalanj said in a news release.

Anyone who may be able to help identify the man or may have information about this incident is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999. Quote file number 22-33895.
