Burnaby RCMP is looking for witnesses after a double stabbing at a South Burnaby townhouse complex over the weekend.
Officers were called to 7187 14th Ave. at 8 p.m. Sunday for reports of a stabbing.
They arrived to find two men, a 21-year-old Vancouver resident and a 20-year-old Burnaby resident, suffering from stab wounds.
They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims are known to police, according to Burnaby RCMP Cpl. Daniela Panesar.
They did not initially cooperate with police, she said, but told officers their attacker was unknown to them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 (TIPS).
In November 2016, a man was shot at the same townhouse complex.
A young offender has since been charged in that incident, which Burnaby RCMP say is unrelated to Sunday’s stabbing.
