Drivers are being urged to avoid the westbound stretch of Highway 1 through Burnaby after a multi-vehicle incident.
The incident was on the highway at Willingdon Avenue, blocking the right-centre lane.
“Expect major delays and congestion throughout the Burnaby Lake stretch,” Drive BC tweeted at around 9 a.m.
“Consider an alternate route.”
The incident has been cleared, but congestion remains.
