Professional boxing is returning to Burnaby.
Empire Boxing Enterprises will be hosting its follow-up to "Reloaded" on Nov. 12 at the Grand Villa Casino.
"The Takeover" will see six fights involving boxers from B.C., Alberta and Ontario. Unlike Reloaded, The Takeover will be an in-person show only.
Empire Boxing Enterprises says Instead of a pay-per-view option, a follow-up film will be released after the event.
"We are looking forward to featuring two female bouts on this card to showcase the up and coming talent on the female side of boxing and to continue our support of women’s sports," Empire Boxing co-founder Anna Farrant said in a news release.
Keep an eye out for Jordan Dobie from Edmonton as she makes her pro debut as well as River. Tucker making her debut out of Quinit Boxing here in Vancouver. Those will be two great match-ups.”
The following fights are currently scheduled:

- Buneet Bisla of Bisla Martial Arts in Surrey, B.C. vs Janks Trotter of Lethbridge, Alb. in light heavyweight
- Co-main event
- Rhett Gibbons of Inaim Boxing in North Vancouver, B.C. vs Justin Grant from Donnybrook Boxing Club in Montreal, Q.C. in super welterweight
- Bout 3
- Jordan Dobie from Southside Legion Boxing Club in Edmonton, Alb. vs Bonnie Hunter from Gideon Boxing Club in Toronto, Ont. in lightweight
- Bout 2
- Qadir Hamid from Quinit Boxing Club in Vancouver, B.C. vs Elroy Fruto from Mendoza Boxing Club in Surrey, B.C. in super lightweight
- Bout 1
- River Tucker of Quinit Boxing Club in East Vancouver, B.C. vs Ericka Hernandez from Donnybrook Boxing Club in Montreal Q.C. in super bantamweight
Details of the sixth bout will be released once details are confirmed.
Tickets are available online and range from $67.90 to $223.85.
